Associate Clinical Social Worker #70919

Supervised by Tiffany Ann Dzioba, PsyD, LMFT #51595

Everyone has the potential to make positive changes in their lives by building resiliency through motivation and self-awareness. My goal is to create a non-judgmental environment, with an emphasis on cultural awareness, while guiding clients to achieve their personal goals, development, and desired outcomes. I work with children 5+ years old, adolescents including at-risk and foster youth, individuals, couples, and families. I have a vast amount of experience working with families in crisis and experiencing significant barriers.

I utilize various trauma-informed therapeutic approaches including Mindfulness to help my clients embrace healthy coping mechanisms and develop confidence in their own resilience. We can build resolutions for harmful generational cycles and explore systematic challenges that have impacted your growth and healing. The goal is to gain insight, awareness, and help my clients write their own narrative to their story.

I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment to promote a safe space for one to be their authentic self to promote positive change and development. Together we can walk the path toward emotional wellness, despite history, socioeconomic status, and cultural background.

Kalisha holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work and is an Associate Clinical Social Work with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. We are a nonprofit community counseling agency, committed to expanding access to supportive services. With compassion, collaboration, and respect we provide affordable mental health care including programs that strengthen adults, youth, families, and communities.

We believe mental health care is a right, not a privilege. By providing affordable mental health services and effective community programs we increase access and utilization of supportive services that contribute to improved adult, youth, and family functioning. We are certain this will lead to fortified communities in Los Angeles.
