Kacie Newton

Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee

Supervised by Tiffany Naumann, Psy.D # 51595

I believe we are all experts of our own life’s journey, and my role is to listen, support, and empower you as you navigate change. I work with youth and adults facing anxiety, sadness, overwhelm, difficulty connecting with emotions, and grief, offering compassionate care to move toward healing.

As an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I create a safe, inclusive space where all gender identities and expressions are welcomed and valued. I honor the balance of femininity and masculinity in ways that feel authentic to each individual.

My approach is grounded in cultural competence and somatic self-regulation. I respect the unique stories shaped by identity and lived experience, and I help clients access the wisdom already held within the mind-body-spirit connection. Therapy with me is collaborative, built on trust, safety, and mutual respect.

Taking brave steps toward self-trust is a powerful act of self-care, and I am honored to partner with growURpotential.org in supporting our community with greater clarity, healing, and authenticity.

Kacie is currently enrolled in a Master's Degree Program for Clinical Psychology to become Marriage & Family Therapist with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. The services provided by Kacie are supervised by Our Clinical Team.

We are a nonprofit community counseling agency, committed to expanding access to supportive services. With compassion, collaboration, and respect we provide affordable mental health care including programs that strengthen adults, youth, families, and communities.

We believe mental health care is a right, not a privilege. By providing affordable mental health services and effective community programs we increase access and utilization of supportive services that contribute to improved adult, youth, and family functioning. We are certain this will lead to fortified communities in Los Angeles.

We are sincerely grateful to Our Board Members for their support and invaluable guidance.
