Kay Shen
Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee
Supervised by Tiffany Naumann, Psy.D # 51595
I believe that healing the self creates a ripple effect, transforming every aspect of life for the better. Growth often brings vulnerability, and having a care partner can provide reassurance and strength.
I offer a grounded, culturally mindful space where clients feel seen, supported, and gently challenged to grow through life’s transitions with greater self-trust, clarity, and connection. I believe healing begins with being truly heard, and I offer a calm, collaborative space where you can explore what matters most, untangle what feels stuck, and move toward growth that feels authentic and sustainable.
I chose to practice at growURpotential because we deserve a nonjudgmental, open-minded space where both clients and therapists are supported in doing meaningful, heart-centered work. I have experience working with children navigating behavioral challenges, as well as individuals healing from attachment injuries, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and relational trauma.
Kay is currently enrolled in a Master's Degree Program for Clinical Psychology to become Marriage & Family Therapist with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. The services provided by Kay are supervised by Our Clinical Team.
We are a nonprofit community counseling agency, committed to expanding access to supportive services. With compassion, collaboration, and respect we provide affordable mental health care including programs that strengthen adults, youth, families, and communities.
We believe mental health care is a right, not a privilege. By providing affordable mental health services and effective community programs we increase access and utilization of supportive services that contribute to improved adult, youth, and family functioning. We are certain this will lead to fortified communities in Los Angeles.
We are sincerely grateful to Our Board Members for their support and invaluable guidance.
