ASSOCIATE MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPIST #92499

Supervised by Tiffany Ann Dzioba, PsyD, LMFT #51595

As a Trauma-Focused Somatic Therapist, I especially work well with children and adolescents who have experienced complex life issues. I do also welcome partnerships with adults who want to embrace mindfulness practice in their lives. My working style gives clients a safe space where they can feel and talk about their life's struggles and build healthy solutions for a future grounded in wellbeing.

I believe that movement helps release and relieve somatic symptoms. I believe the key components of a safe therapeutic relationship are active listening and empathetic curiosity. I will ask the questions that help us understand you better. I have experience treating ADHD, anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, Bipolar Disorder, compulsivity, depression, oppositional defiance, self-esteem, sexual trauma, and PTSD. I am also a great partner for parenting and family conflict resolutions.

I chose to become a mental health professional because I want to make a positive and productive difference in young people's lives. I chose to work for an agency that uplifts access to quality care because I believe in that same mission.

Cinnamon holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and is a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. The services provided by Cinnamon are supervised by Our Clinical Team

We are a nonprofit community counseling agency, committed to expanding access to supportive services. With compassion, collaboration, and respect we provide affordable mental health care including programs that strengthen adults, youth, families, and communities.

We believe mental health care is a right, not a privilege. By providing affordable mental health services and effective community programs we increase access and utilization of supportive services that contribute to improved adult, youth, and family functioning. We are certain this will lead to fortified communities in Los Angeles.

We are sincerely grateful to Our Board Members for their support and invaluable guidance.
