We invite Youth and Their Families
to TRUST that Connection Deserves Support
The Youth & Family Program at growURpotential invites young people and their loved ones to practice stronger relationships together. If you are a young person navigating identity, family expectations, communication challenges, or simply wanting a healthier connection with the people who care about you, this program is designed with you in mind.
Youth lead the invitation.
When a young person under 30 signs up for support, they can invite parents, caregivers, mentors, or trusted loved ones to participate in a guided process of learning, listening, and rebuilding trust together. Families grow stronger when everyone has the opportunity to understand each other and practice new skills in a supportive environment.
For 5 years we have hosted spaces where QTPOC and LGBTQIA+ youth and their families put down sex, and pick up tools for belonging. We deeply respect identify, trans bravery, nonbinary politics, and gender privileges. Youth under 30 are encouraged to participate alongside family members, allies, and caregivers who want to build healthier relationships rooted in respect and care agreements.
Our care partners facilitate conversations that reduce shame, replace blame with curiosity, and create pathways for families to reconnect.
A Space for Families of All Faiths or No Faith
Healthy collaboration is possible when everyone is protected from shame and blame. Our family mediation supports diverse backgrounds, cultures, and belief systems. Care partners guide conversations with compassion and accountability to support deeper understanding and mutual respect.
Youth Invite the Conversation
In this program, youth initiate the process by registering and inviting the loved ones they want involved. We begin with a consultation where we learn about your goals, eligibility for income-based scholarships, and plot the plan for a twenty week investment. This program includes group work and private sessions that develop debate, collaboration, and problem solving confidence. Start the conversation.
Why Families Practice Together
When loved ones participate in education workgroups together they transform together. Healing on purpose is team effort, an agreement to practice specific actions. As we practice we make progress and celebrate together on purpose. Practicing together transforms everyday moments into love in action, and pride in effort.
